Position Description:

Leela Consultancy Inc is seeking an experienced and highly motivated security professional to help secure and protect Leela Consultancy Inc and client environments. The applicant's responsibilities will include evaluating new technology, installing, operating, and maintaining security tools/controls, and working to continuously improve Leela Consultancy Inc's security engineering practices

The applicant must have specific experience with vulnerability management solutions, specifically Rapid7 InsightVM, as well as general information security and risk management expertise. The applicant must also be a skilled communicator, with the ability to carry on detailed technical discussions with team members, as well as summarize and clearly communicate work status, key issues, and risks to management. Finally, the applicant must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment, remaining organized while working on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in parallel.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Working through the secure system development lifecycle to assist in one or more functions to operate and maintain an automated security platform, including:

• Leveraging automated vulnerability assessment and vulnerability management capabilities.
• Network management, asset inventory, and access control.
• Logging and auditing functions with System Incident and Event Monitoring (SIEM) and orchestration efforts.
• Leveraging next-generation firewall knowledge to build automated workflows.
• Building incident and event monitoring into automated workflows.
• Correlating security analytics into meaningful information and reports.
• Managing API interfaces.
• Integrating security logs into compliance software.
• Developing remediation recommendations for findings where automated actions have not yet been applied.
• Working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, and clearly and proactively communicating work status, key issues, and risks to management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Must be able to pass an Leela Consultancy Inc background check to start employment.
• 2 years of Information Security experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
• Must have expert proficiency in the following areas:
• System Incident and Event Monitoring (SIEM), Log Monitoring, Log Management, and Incident Response.
• Public and private cloud security solutions and capabilities. Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud SaaS and PaaS compliance and risk management.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with security certification standards.
• Must understand the scope of future duties listed above and how to integrate security functions into SaaS offerings and drive continuous improvement into the security services/functions.
